Microsoft’s Bing has released their Edibly apps for iPhone, a guide to the Pike Place market in Seattle, which is being described as a trial for a more wide roll-out of the service, which helps both buyers and sellers save time and find each other.
Unfortunately the team created the app first for the iPhone, with the app already in the iOS App Store, while Windows Phone users are left waiting. While the service is not half as compelling as the Photosynth app,Edibly does leave a similar bad taste in the mouth.
Could we once again suggest Microsoft not add to the disparity of apps available between iOS, Android and Windows Phone by first releasing on alternate platforms?
